This adds up your points to give you a total score out of 100.
See your ranking:
Based on your total score, the calculator will tell you whether you’ve passed or need to improve.
If you do 60 push-ups and 60 sit-ups in one minute, you’ll get 25 points for each exercise. If you run 2.4 km (that’s about 1.5 miles) in about 9 minutes, you can earn 50 points.
How to Pass the IPPT Score Sheet Chart and Table: Simple Guide to Fitness
The scores depend on how many push-ups and sit-ups you can do in one minute and how fast you finish the run. The test changes based on your age. To pass, you must earn at least one point in each exercise and reach a total of 51 out of 100 points. You can use the IPPT point calculator to see your scores.
The IPPT Score Sheet Chart and Table test check your fitness with three activities: push-ups, sit-ups, and a 2.4 km run. Push-ups test your arm strength, sit-ups check your tummy muscles and run tests on how fit and strong your legs are, along with your stamina.
8-Week NS Reduction with a Good IPPT Score Calculator
If you’re graded PES A or B1, you can cut 8 weeks off your IPPT NS Calculator by scoring at least 61 points in the Pre-Enlistee IPPT, with at least 1 point in sit-ups, push-ups, and the 2.4 km run. You must achieve this score two weeks before your PTP enrollment to qualify for Direct Basic Training. Otherwise, you’ll complete the full 8-week PTP.
PES B (non-B1), C, or E recruits don’t need to take the Pre-Enlistee IPPT and won’t get the 8-week reduction.
Every year, eligible NSmen with PES A, B/B1/B2/C1 status in Singapore must complete the IPPT unless exempted. Your IPPT Singapore window lasts for 12 months, starting from your birthday after your ORD.
